Castel Guelfo Retail Park is located along the highway between Bologna and Rimini, adjacent to the existing Factory Outlet Centre. It offers medium and large sized retail units for complementary branches to the Outlet Centre like electronics, furniture, sports equipment, car accessories and hardware.
Together with the retail park, Castel Guelfo will become an important destination for shopping with over 30,000 m2 of retail space. Considerable synergies are expected from the Factory Outlet Centre by adding complementary functions. Since the opening of phase 1, visitor numbers and spending per visitor have increased steadily. The opening is planned in September 2008 together with the opening of the extension of the Outlet. The catchment area of Bologna is considered one of the richest in Italy.
