The project was awarded by the City Council of Logroño after winning an open tender. Eroski hypermarket will be the main anchor in this large shopping centre.

Thursday 11 March Berceo Shopping Centre won the MIPIM 2004 Award in the shopping centre category. Berceo Shopping Centre, at Logroño, Spain, was nominated together with Ayala Centre Greenbelt 3 (The Philippines) and Roppongi Hills (Tokyo).
