A7 Arena Holešovice Brewery
Other sites
This project, aimed at giving a former industrial complex a new lease of life, is located in Prague 7 – Holešovice. It is located on the plot of the former First Burgess Brewery, established at the end of the 19th century. The production of beer was stopped in 1996.
The renovation project includes the reconstruction of three listed industrial buildings, plus the construction of four new buildings and an underground car park with 441 parking spaces. The reconstructed and new buildings will be used as office, commercial, and residential premises. Overall, the project has 2.749 m² of commercial space, 13.857 m² of office space, and 17.040 m² of residential space.
Lofts
An interesting element in the residential section will be the construction of loft apartments in the former brewhouse and the cask store. These will be spacious apartments and the client will have a say in the finishing touches. The concept of converting industrial structures into apartments is a modern trend in housing that can be traced back to America in the 1960s and 1970s. So far, only a handful of projects in this vein have appeared on the Prague property market. The A7 Arena project in Holešovice will offer 36 loft apartments.
