Parking

Public space is scarce yet the volume of traffic continues to grow. We develop parking solutions that are user-friendly and sustainable, recognising that it is the government’s responsibility to regulate parking spaces while taking into account the needs of the private and public sector.
Developing parking areas requires insight into private sector needs, ensuring accessibility to residential, office, leisure and transport areas as well as meeting public concerns about sustainability. We prefer the early involvement of car park operators in order to ensure good design that meets local needs.
Parking is all about connecting outer and inner city areas and multi-modal links such as park-and-ride and airport transfers. Easy access ensures that people can continue to enjoy living in inner city areas.
We have extensive experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders on multi-use area developments, often in public-private partnerships, on:
- Entrances
- Routing
- Signage
- Driving lanes
- Parking bays
- Pedestrian zones
- Pay stations
- Exits for pedestrians, and
- Access to airport transfers and railway stations
