Royal Mills awarded Best Mixed Use Development of the Year

The first North West Property Awards, sponsored by Property Week, was held in Manchester last night. ING RED UK’s Royal Mills project was awarded the Best Mixed Use Development of the Year.
This is the second award for Royal Mills this year. In February Royal Mills received the Built In Quality Award, organized by Manchester City Council Building Surveyors. This award reflects outstanding practice in site safety and consistency of building standards.
The Royal Mills project is the catalyst for the redevelopment of Ancoats Urban Village in East Manchester. ING RED UK has constructed 198 apartments and c. 3,000 sqm of commercial space in the first phase of the scheme. The first phase includes two buildings of historical significance which date from 1820.
