Warsaw’s Złote Tarasy best Retail & Leisure project at "MIPIM Architectural Review Future Project Awards" in Cannes

ING Real Estate’s Złote Tarasy, designed by architects from Jerde Partnership, won in Retail & Leisure category at this year’s "MIPIM Architectural Review Future Project Awards" Gala held in Cannes, Wednesday, March 15th.

In Retail & Leisure category Złote Tarasy competed with 23 entries. This category’s award goes to the project that best responds to both its urban context and the needs of its target customers. The winning projects are to demonstrate excellence in interior design as well as respond to the challenges of today’s urban agenda with its emphasis on mixed-use sustainability and connectivity with urban fabric.

Złote Tarasy is a 225,000 sq.m. mixed-use project containing retail, entertainment and offices currently being constructed in the centre of Warsaw, Poland. Its large scale, central location on the busiest public transport hub of the city and the country, and its attractive and innovative architectural design by The Jerde Partnership make it a unique project of great importance to the revitalization of the centre of Warsaw. Completion of Zlote Tarasy is expected in late October 2006. More than 84% of the retail space in Złote Tarasy has been already committed and 11% is under negotiations.
