Consultant Technical Infrastructure

Description

As Consultant Technical Infrastructure you will be responsible for the coordination of implementations of IT projects and/or assignments for ING Real Estate. You will give advice about deployment of IT services and also technical realisation of the IT products. You are responsible for operational management and coaching of employees who act in a project team. For this job international travelling is expected about 6-8 times a year.

More in detail your task areas are:

1. Management
Has a functional management responsibility towards all employees of the IT department who are responsible for designing and implementing changes resulting from projects within the ICT infrastructure managed by ING Real Estate.

2. Project Management
Is responsible towards to the client for executing projects/assignments; monitors the progress of internal and external parties; coordinates the execution; initiates and adjust actions, manages tasks of project members; takes care of a proper information flow and reporting to and from the customer and project team.

3. Consultancy
Advises on the development and execution of project plans, IT resources and budgets for ING Real Estate; supports the evaluations. Acts towards to the customer as a specialist and a walking encyclopaedia; advises the customer in a professional way; uses thorough, pro-active knowledge of the discipline, IT profession and new IT techniques. Participates in multidisciplinary teams.

4. Change Management
Coordinates with colleagues from other IT disciplines, customers and suppliers to implement changes in the ICT infrastructure used.

5. Quality and relationship management
Guides and controls the progress within a project in such a way that the IT Products are delivered within requested maintenance and security levels so that secure daily production can be achieved

Prerequisites

You have a professional bachelor’s or academic degree (Dutch HBO/WO) preferably in the field of Computer Sciences/Information Management. You have at least five years of experience in an international environment (as consultant or senior engineer). You have good knowledge of technical infrastructure. You recognize your competencies being: initiative, creativity, analytical skills, change driven, stress proof, project management and you have a positive attitude. We expect you to have effective verbal and written communication skills in English. You don’t mind travelling abroad.

This is a fulltime position of 36 (or 38) hours.
