Best experience during the Real Estate Finance Traineeship:

In my six months stay at our New York Office I had two assignments: implementing certain new procedures (operational) and support the local business (commercial). Beside just the amazing fact of being in New York, it has also been a great learning experience.

General experience Traineeship:

The university provided me the foundation and ING Real Estate Finance Traineeship provided me the framework of a great future within a great company. Just like the frame of an office building. The programme exposes you to the different departments and facets of ING Real Estate Finance. Understanding of the organisation and the products are key in these. By rotating through the organisation, you will learn how the back, mid and front office operates and their significance. The day-to-day business and several courses will teach you about real estate and financing. Like a finishing touch of this programme, the Management Board challenges you personally to think about corporate strategy and across business lines.
